Ludhiana, September 19, 2019: CT University (CTU) has established a Center of Excellence for Blockchain’ with Blockchain, PREP FZE LLC, UAE by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
Blockchain allows digital information to be distributed but not copied, blockchain technology created the backbone of a new type of internet and this technology is emerging. For the students, this is beneficial to study as the upcoming generation is totally based on technology that needs proper security.
The centre will impart some of the topics of interest including theoretical foundations on scalability & performance tradeoffs, concurrent operations, e-ledger, Distributed Ledger Technology (DLTs)., robust smart contracts, security, privacy, anonymity, Crypto-currency &crypto-assets, DLT applications to land management, healthcare, IoT security etc.
Dr Ravindhar Vadapalli, Independent Director & Business Head from Blockchain said, “Knowledge sharing will be based on Student -Expert Exchange Programme, workshops will organized by the company at the campus along with Industrial visits.”
Under Center for Excellence, CTU will commence PG Diploma, Diploma and Certificate programmes in Blockchain Technology. Elaborating further, Dr Harsh Sadawarti said, “The creation of Blockchain Centres of Excellence represents an important step to overcome the tremendous trust deficiency we currently live with. This agreement will result into practical based academic excellence and imparting training to the interested students as per the requirements of the industry about Blockchain, guidelines will be defined as per the industry requirements to prepare the students accordingly and placements shall be made.”
