CT University holds National Seminar on relevance of Pash Poetry
The School of Humanities and Physical Education, CT University in association with Sahit Academy, Delhi organized a one day National Seminar on 'Contemporary Relevance of Pash'.
Ludhiana, April 22, 2022: The School of Humanities and Physical Education, CT University in association with Sahit Academy, Delhi organized a one day National Seminar on 'Contemporary Relevance of Pash'.
The keynote address was delivered by Prof. Bhiminder Singh. He said that Pash's poetry was gaining more and more significance day by day. He expresses the desires of an incomplete human being. He is a poet of the people and represents the downtrodden. Presenting his research paper, Dr. Johal said that Pash's poetry embodies Punjabi culture and ugly images. He emphasized and reconsidered the contemporary relevance of the Pash Poetry era.
In their research papers, Dr. Sandeep Kaur and Dr. Kiran Kaur elaborated on the ideological foundations and artistic aspects of Pash's poetry. Both criticisms exposed the vastness of the woman.
Presiding over the function, Prof. Sohinder Bir said that although Pash based his poetry on contemporary themes, their significance has the potential to spread and influence in every age. He called Pash a combination of violence and revolution.
Dr. Pravin Kumar, Dean, School of Humanities and Physical Education, CT University, Ludhiana formally thanked the visiting scholars in collaboration with Sahit Academy and expressed his strong desire to hold more such seminars in the near future.
On this occasion Dr. Lakhwinder Kaur's book 'Guru Nanak Bani Wich Bhagati Da Saroop Ate Hor Chintan' and Dr. Sandeep Kaur's book ‘Aadhunik Punjabi De Bhashai Sarokaar' were also released.
