Ludhiana, December 2, 2024: CT University proudly inaugurated the North Zone Intervarsity Table Tennis Men Championship 2024-25 on its campus. The tournament, running from December 1 to December 5, follows a knockout format, featuring intense competition among 58 university teams from across the North Zone.

This prestigious event offers participants a chance to qualify for the All India Inter-University Table Tennis Championship and the ‘Khelo India’ University Games, with the top four teams advancing to these national platforms.

The inauguration ceremony witnessed the esteemed presence of CT University Chancellor S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Pro Chancellor Dr. Manbir Singh, Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Nitin Tandon, Registrar Sanjay Khanduri, Dean Academics Dr. Simranjeet Kaur Gill, and Director of the Department of Student Welfare Davinder Singh.

Renowned institutions such as Chandigarh University, Chitkara University, Cluster University (Jammu), Doon University (Dehradun), Lovely Professional University, and Punjab University, among others, are competing in this championship.

Addressing the gathering, Chancellor S.
