CT University hosts successful Red Run Marathon
CT University along with Red Ribbon Club and Directorate of Youth Welfare of Punjab organized Red Run Marathon. Over 300 enthusiastic participants, including 200 students from CT University and more than 100 from other institutions participated.
Ludhiana, September 27, 2024: CT University along with Red Ribbon Club and Directorate of Youth Welfare of Punjab organized Red Run Marathon. Over 300 enthusiastic participants, including 200 students from CT University and more than 100 from other institutions participated.
The 5-kilometer race started and ended at the university campus which aimed to promote health, fitness and awareness about HIV/AIDS. The event was graced by the Kulwinder Singh, Deputy Director of Youth Welfare of Punjab who commended the university and participants for their commitment to a healthier lifestyle and social causes.
"The Red Run is more than just a race; it's a symbol of hope, resilience and unity," said Kulwinder Singh. CT University's Red Ribbon Club has been at the forefront of organizing such events to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and encourage the youth to adopt healthy habits.
The flag-off ceremony was conducted by Pro Chancellor Dr. Manbir Singh, Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh, and Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhishek Tripathi. Dean of Academics Dr. Simranjeet Kaur Gill, along with Director of Student Welfare Davinder Singh congratulated the winners, celebrating their achievements and encouraging continued success.
