CT University inaugurates IBM Lab in campus
Ludhiana, September 20, 2021: CT University has started a new venture by joining hands with IBM by offering joint collaborative specialisation programs. It would enhance the overall skill set of the students who are budding technocrats.
In regard to this, CTU has inaugurated an IBM Lab where the latest configuration systems with the trending software have been installed. For the inauguration, IBM officials namely Rahul Boorji, Shefali Dutta and Aman Bakshi were present along with Manbir Singh, Managing Director and Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor, CT University. Meanwhile, IBM officials held a guest lecture for students in which they made students familiar with the portal of IBM.
Dr Kamal Malik, Professor, School of Engineering & Technology, said, “The tools of IBM are totally free of cost for the students who have enrolled with us. They are getting classes from IBM officials along with one to one sessions. The students are also made ready for future interviews in major companies.”
Manbir Singh, Managing Director congratulated the teams for this initiative and said that CT University has already signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with International Business Machines (IBM) India Pvt Ltd. for B.Tech in CSE with specialization in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security and Forensics.
