CT University inaugurates National Service Scheme

Ludhiana, May 28, 2022: Stepping ahead in all its achievements, CT University is approved with NSS units i.e. National Service Scheme.
During the inauguration ceremony, the chief guest Dr. Kamaljit Singh Sidhu, Deputy Director/SNO Punjab interacted with the volunteers for the best motivation for youth leadership qualities and social works. He also shared the purpose of NSS while talking to the students that it is to instil the idea of social welfare in them, and to provide service to society without bias. NSS volunteers work to ensure that everyone who is needy gets help to enhance their standard of living and lead a life of dignity.
Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice-Chancellor, CT University by adding words said that recognizing its social responsibility, the university has launched an NSS wing in which students will carry out various activities for social service such as health care camps, awareness camps in villages, collection of essential items for the needy, maintenance of environment as well as we will be conducting speeches in villages and towns against social evils.
Later, Navdeep Singh, Assistant Professor was awarded with the designation of NSS program officer.
