CT University launches book titled Hospitality & Tourism Industry amid Covid-19
The book consists of 40 Chapters
Ludhiana: CT University launches a book titled “Hospitality and Tourism Industry amid Covid -19 Pandemic” which is authored by Dr. Varinder Singh Rana, Dean and Dr. Gaurav Bathla, Associate Professor, School of Hotel Management Airlines & Tourism. The book was launched by Charanjit S Channi, Chancellor, Manbir Singh, Managing Director and Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor, CT University.
While explaining the reason behind penning down this book, Dean Dr Varinder Singh Rana said, “The Hospitality and Tourism Industry have seen one of its biggest downturns in history with the sudden onset of COVID-19. Travel bans and restrictions are growing daily as the novel coronavirus continues to move into new regions and countries. The highly infectious COVID continues to upset the hospitality & tourism sector and raises serious questions about its present and future survival. To address the above mentioned issues, the book consists of 40 Chapters and Research Papers authored by renowned academicians and researchers from reputed universities and institutes of India.”
Moreover, the book contains broad topics like Digitalization in the hotel workplace, contactless hospitality, Impacts of Covid 19 on Hospitality Employment, Travel Behavior and Preferences of Customers etc.
CTU Chancellor Charanjit S Channi congratulated the faculty members for this achievement and their contribution towards research.
