Ludhiana, February 18, 2022: Promoting the awareness towards science and innovation, Department of Robotics and Automation, CT University designed a bus called Innovation on Wheels.
The main motive to build innovation of wheels bus came during the lockdown period due to the increasing gap between the innovation and students. Thus this bus idea was introduced to reach the students at their places.
Before starting the bus, the team finalised all the projects to be displayed inside the bus. It is for the students that they can interact with project and can have maximum exposure about the technology. The bus includes automatic sanitizer machine at the entrance which is the need of the hour. Then it has different projects like 3D printed museum, ventilation regulating device smart horn and the best part about these projects is that a student can see the actual working of the projects.
Dr. Harmeet Singh added, “Students can see the innovation and even learn about the projects from our onboard instructor as well as can visit the university. This innovation on wheels bus is completed by a team of 5 Innovation ambassadors and one lab Technician. It took 2 months to complete the bus. ”And we are properly sanitizing the bus.
On the launch of Innovation on Wheels Chancellor Charanjit Singh Channi said that this initiative of CT University is to make our youth work here so that they can prosper by staying here instead of working away from their parents in abroad.
Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice-Chancellor, CT University and Managing Director CT University Manbir Singh congratulated Dr. Harmeet Singh and his team for the unique idea and shared that this bus will run all over the Punjab to spread the awareness and it will be at no cost as they feel it is their social responsibility to upscale the youth of Punjab to be highly skilled and educated.
On this occasion Charanjit Singh Channi, Chancellor, Manbir Singh Managing Director, Harpreet Singh, Vice Chairman and all faculty of CT University were present.
