CT University marks Independence Day
To mark the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence, CT University celebrated the Independence Day to recall the spirit of patriotism and to pay tribute to Indian struggle for freedom.
Ludhiana, August 16, 2022: To mark the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence, CT University celebrated the Independence Day to recall the spirit of patriotism and to pay tribute to Indian struggle for freedom. The guests were escorted by the cadets to the venue following which he unfurled the tricolour and took salute. The event was presided over by the Departmental heads, faculty and students.
After the National Anthem, which heralded the patriotic spirit among the crowd, the event moved on speeches about the history of independence and a tuft of tricolour balloons was released in the air to highlight the sense of freedom.. After that flag hoisting ceremony has been done by Officiating Vice-Chancellor, Dr Satish Kumar and Sarbpreet Singh, Registrar, CTU. It ended with the march past by NCC wing.
This event was organized under the guidance of Dr Parvin Sharma, Head of School of Sports and Physical Education. Dr Satish Kumar delivered motivating speech and expressed gratitude to the nation builders for their long and persistent efforts. The university observed this historic day with enthusiasm and revived the pledge of being dutiful to this country.
