CT University marks ‘National Energy Conservation Day’
The whole university followed ‘Power Off- Electricity Conservation’ inside the campus for an hour
Ludhiana, December 16, 2021: CT University marked ‘National Energy Conservation Day’ by organizing various activities. The whole university followed ‘Power Off- Electricity Conservation’ inside the campus for an hour, used a minimal energy during the day and took the pledge for not wasting the energy if not necessary.
Apart from this, a Poster Making Event was organized where students displayed charts with the message of controlling the wastage of energy and marking themselves responsible. A session on Rainwater Harvesting and Utilization was also conducted by the Department of School Of Agriculture and Natural Sciences, in which students of B.Sc Agriculture gave a Model Presentation portraying the message of the importance of rainwater harvesting.
Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice-Chancellor, CT University said, “Life is really hard to imagine without water and light. In today’s world electricity has become essential part of life like water. We use both of them for cleaning, washing, bathing, cooking, drinking and other domestic and industrial uses.”
