Ludhiana, October 31, 2022: CT University pays tribute to the unifier of Modern India, Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his 147th birth anniversary. The day is also celebrated as National Unity Day.

Dr. Satish Kumar, Vice Chancellor, CT University flagged off ‘Run for Unity’, in which around 2,000 students took part with great enthusiasm and patriotism.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Satish Kumar, Vice Chancellor, CT University said, “Iron Man of India Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel played an important role in persuading many princely states to join the Union of India. He also urged the students to follow the footsteps of Sardar Patel to work for the unity and integrity of the country.”

Dr. Parvin Kumar, Professor and Dean, School of Humanities and Physical Education, CTU said, “Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s iron will weaved our nation into a union and continues to inspire us to fight the forces of hate & division,”

Sarabpreet Singh, Registrar, CTU along with all the Deans, Heads of the Schools, Faculty and students took part in the 'Unity Run'.
