CT University organized ‘Turban Tying’ Competition
70 Participants from different cities of Punjab Participated
Ludhiana, March 16, 2023: To inculcate the values of self-respect, courage, and tradition, Department of Student Welfare, CT University organized ‘Turban Tying’ Competition. More than 70 Participants from different cities of Punjab and Students from CT University took part and showcased their expertise in tying the turban.
Turban Fame Pardeep Singh Gehal, Sukhman Bilkhu, Lovepreet Kokri were the judges. Participants from different cities of Punjab. First position was bagged by Maninder Singh
And Gurinder Singh and Rohitdeep Singh bagged the second and Third position respectively.

Er. Davinder Singh, Deputy Director, Department of Student Welfare, said “Turban is considered to be a crown in the head of the wearer and represents pride, valour and values. The Turban is a significant part of Sikh religious ethos and gives a distinct identity to the wearer.”
