CT University organized ‘World Tourism Day’
CT University organized World Tourism Day with the support of Hotel Management Airlines and Tourism.
Ludhiana September 29, 2022: CT University organized World Tourism Day with the support of Hotel Management Airlines and Tourism.
Students of Hotel Management Airlines and Tourism celebrated a Tourism Week included couple of events named as creativity, patisserie, cultural performances and regional gastronomy.
This event was started by Vice Chairman CT University, Mr. Harpreet Singh and Vice Chancellor (off) Dr. Satish Kumar on the final day of World Tourism Day on 27th September 2022.
Furthermore, by giving tremendous regional dance performances by students became first step for starting the celebrations, as India is known as a diverse country, students illustrated the significance of culture across all the Indian states. Performers displayed their creativity by taking the recourse of Models developed under “Best out of Waste Contest” and through a range of charts made on theme of Tourism Day 2022 i.e. “Rethinking Tourism”.
One of the most predominant part of the event was Street Food Fair, hence students gathered chance to shows the variety of street food. Pav Bhaji, Chaat Samosa, Golgappe, Biryani and Pasta were on the top of the menu card of food stall. Another attraction was the folk dances of all states of India.
World Tourism Day was organized under the guidance of HOS Chef Vikas Kumar & COS Dr Baljit Kaur.
Harpreet Singh, Vice-Chairman and Dr Satish Kumar congratulated the team and said that India is a country full of diversity and is famous in the world of hospitality. This characteristic of India keeps it leading in the category of art, knowledge and warriors.
