CT University Organizes ‘Amrit Kalash Yatra’
NSS unit of CT University organized the Amrit Kalash Yatra, a key part of the 'Meri Maati Mera Desh' campaign. The event, which took place under the able leadership of Er. Harwinder Singh Sohal, Programme Coordinator of NSS, and Er. Davinder Singh, Deputy Director of the Department of Student Welfare, aimed to instill a deep sense of patriotism among citizens.
Ludhiana, October 18, 2023: NSS unit of CT University organized the Amrit Kalash Yatra, a key part of the 'Meri Maati Mera Desh' campaign. The event, which took place under the able leadership of Er. Harwinder Singh Sohal, Programme Coordinator of NSS, and Er. Davinder Singh, Deputy Director of the Department of Student Welfare, aimed to instill a deep sense of patriotism among citizens.
The event witnessed the esteemed presence of Chancellor Charanjit Singh Channi and Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhishek Tripathi.
Additionally, CT Degree College (Collegiate) Principal Hardeep Kaur, Assistant Professor (Management) Surbhi Behl, and NCC Trainer Taranjit Singh, along with faculty and students, joined the occasion to support this patriotic initiative.
The Amrit Kalash Yatra commenced from A block and followed a path filled with purpose and zeal, culminating at the Open Air Theatre. During the Yatra, the soil, symbolizing the essence of our great nation, was lovingly collected by dedicated NSS volunteers and placed in the Kalash pot. This act was a heartfelt homage to the heroic sacrifices made by our nation's valiant heroes.
The event was made even more impactful by the participation of approximately 150 enthusiastic NSS volunteers who ardently contributed to its success.
