CT University organizes ‘NE Fresho’ for North-East students

Ludhiana, November 3, 2022: CT University welcomed its new batch by organizing a Fresher’s welcome party ‘NE Fresho’ for the 2022 session of North East students. The students from Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Tripura, West Bengal, Assam marked their presence. First year students participated in various events, including modelling, singing, folk dances etc. The event was full of fun and enthusiasm. The enthusiasm level was clearly seen on the face of the students.
CT University’s Vice Chancellor, Dr. Satish Kumar, Sanjay Sharma (Deputy Director Admissions and Mentor North East Students), Dr. Pravin Kumar (Professor and Dean, School of Humanities and Physical education), Sahil Kapoor (Director- Business Development & Marketing), Dr. Umesh (Officiating Dean Academics), other heads and faculty members graced the occasion.
Dr. Satish Kumar, Vice Chancellor, CTU welcomed the freshers and said ‘College life is a turning point for students' lives. Students need to put their best effort for enhancing their abilities. There is no substitute to hard work and it is the only key to success. Knowledge and skills can take students to another level of success.
Margret Kamei and Matiksana Meitei won the title Ms. Fresher & Mr. Fresher 2022 respectively.
The Chief Guest for the day Dr. Pravin Kumar, Professor and Dean, School of Humanities and Physical education, CTU applauded the performances done by the students and for organizing a lively event and said that it would help in boosting the confidence of students along with paving a way for them to organize such events in future too.
CT University’s Vice Chancellor, Dr. Satish Kumar along with senior dignitaries distributed prizes to the winners. He admired the team work of students and faculty to make the evening a remarkable one.
