CT University organizes virtual global conclave MDISET 2020
12 key note sessions, 03 panel discussions and guests from 13 countries
Ludhiana: CT University organized a Virtual Global Conclave on ‘Multi-Disciplinary Innovations, Skills, Engineering and Technologies to Catalyze Industry Revolution 4.0’ (MDISET-2020) in which12 key note sessions and 03 panel discussions were held with the participation of guests from 13 countries. The conclave was e-inaugurated by CTU Chancellor Charanjit S Singh, Managing Director Manbir Singh, Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh and Vice Chancellor- Dr Harsh Sadawarti.
The major topics for the discussion were AR as UI (Augmented Reality user interface) to discover and interaction with IoT devices, VR( Virtual Reality) for prototyping, Entrepreneurship, Recent Trends and Technologies for Transforming Global World; Entrepreneurship : An Overview; Augmented Reality (AR); Making India the skill capital of the world and Framework and practices of e-learning in International Higher Education: Understanding the Perspectives from the Practitioners Viewpoint.

One of the delegates Dr. Günter Alce from Sweden, while discussing his topic shared, “More and more devices are being connected to the Internet but how should we discover and directly interact with all them in an intuitive and comfortable manner? Up until now, smart phones have shown potential for managing the Internet of Things (IoT) environments, but we cannot rely on that technology. Wearable’s, on the other hand, are becoming more mature and are available in many different form factors.”
Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor said that this conclave has given a deep insight into various research based issues that would help during this phase of COVID-19. He appreciated and thanked all the delegates and audience for actively participating in this virtual global conclave.
