CT University partners with Pearson VUE to recognise entrance exams
With this partnership, CT University shall treat Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam scores at par with any other entrance/admission test scores
Ludhiana: CT University has partnered with Pearson VUE to recognize Pearson Undergraduate Entrance exam scores to grant admissions to its Undergraduate Courses. With this partnership, CT University shall treat Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam scores at par with any other entrance/admission test scores, subject to candidates fulfilling the university's eligibility requirements.
Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice-Chancellor, CT University said that Pearson VUE being a global leader in online assessments has taken a major step in designing and delivering a global gold standard exam for admissions. This partnership will enable maximum reach ability to connect with candidates applying for various undergraduate programs with CT University.
Ati Priye, Director of Planning and Development said that the university gets the right set of candidates through this test. This is a selection test and not a rejection test. The parameters assessed in the test will pertain to the applicant’s degree of readiness to learn within a university degree program, and therefore, will consist of parameters related to the applicant’s ability to reason and be more aligned with assessing aptitude rather than achievement.
Divyalok Chetan Sharma, Vice President, India and SAARC at Pearson VUE, said, "We’re delighted that CT University is now accepting the Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam scores as one of the criteria for their university admissions. With our commitment to further raising standards around higher education, we require partnerships with organisations which share and promote our values.”
