CT University Promotes Fitness and Well-being with Weekend of Wellness (WOW)
CT University, in collaboration with the Commissionerate of Police Ludhiana, organized a Weekend of Wellness (WOW) at Kuliawal Playground, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana, to spread the message of healthy living and fitness.
Ludhiana, November 5, 2023: CT University, in collaboration with the Commissionerate of Police Ludhiana, organized a Weekend of Wellness (WOW) at Kuliawal Playground, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana, to spread the message of healthy living and fitness.
The event witnessed people of all age groups participating in a fun-filled fitness extravaganza that encompassed synchronized dance moves and various workouts in a specially designated area at the Kuliawal Playground. The event, held on a Sunday morning from 6 am to 9 am, provided a dedicated space for citizens to engage in recreational activities, promoting health, fitness, togetherness, and joy. Participants utilized the open area to transform it into an open-air dance studio, art hub, gymnasium, and yoga institute.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was ACP Gurdev Singh. (Inspector) Sudagar Ali PCR Incharge Ludhiana graced the occasion. A wide range of activities, from Zumba to basketball, cricket, yoga, engaged the participants, making it a memorable day for everyone.
Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Abhishek Tripathi expressed that the event aimed to encourage people to adopt healthier lifestyles by walking, cycling, and engaging in fitness-related activities. The event served as a reminder for citizens to reclaim the designated area for well-being and fitness.
ACP Gurdev Singh Ludhiana emphasized the importance of healthy body and creating drug free Punjab. The event's success was made possible with the support of various partners, including Decathlon, MUMMy WEB ERP, Janotra Convent School, Dragon Bhangra Academy, Waheguru Blood Sewa, Karayat Defence Academy, Ahmedgarh Paddlers, Elevate Wellness Club, National Chamber of Education & Development, Everest Yoga Institute, and YOG Parivar.
On this occasion Pro Vice chancellor Dr Abhishek Tripathi, Deputy Director Department of Student welfare Davinder Singh; Amandeep Tangri Additional Director department of Admissions, Faculty and students were present.
