Ludhiana, January 13, 2025: CT University celebrated the harvest festival of Lohri with great enthusiasm.
The Department of Student Welfare organised a vibrant event, which brought together the faculty members for an afternoon.
The celebrations were marked by a bonfire, folk songs, bhangra and games, which got everyone in the festive spirit.
The highlight of the event was a DJ party, which had the faculty members grooving to the beats.
Another unique aspect of the celebration was the Potluck Lunch, where every faculty member brought a different dish to share with their colleagues.
This communal meal added to the sense of togetherness.
Chancellor, Charanjit Singh Channi, expressed his delight at the celebrations, saying, "Lohri is a celebration of life, and I'm thrilled to see our faculty members coming together to rejoice in the spirit of the festival."
Vice Chairman, Harpreet Singh, added, "CT University is more than just an educational institution – it's a family. And today, we've come together to celebrate the values of community, harmony and joy."
The event was attended by all the Deans, Heads of Schools and the entire faculty of CT University, who came together to make the Lohri celebrations a memorable one.
