CT University's Department of Student Welfare recently hosted "Udaan" - An Inter School Cultural Fest, a spectacular event that brought together budding talents from various schools to showcase their skills and creativity in a wide range of cultural and artistic disciplines.

Ludhiana, March 11, 2025: CT University's Department of Student Welfare recently hosted "Udaan" - An Inter School Cultural Fest, a spectacular event that brought together budding talents from various schools to showcase their skills and creativity in a wide range of cultural and artistic disciplines.

The fest featured an exciting array of events and activities, including skits, solo performances in singing and dance, group dance, photography, rangoli, mehndi, face painting, cartooning, fashion show, poem recitation, debate, elocution, essay writing, quiz, poetry writing, installation, clay modelling, nukkad natak and cultural procession.

After intense competitions and outstanding showcases of talent, the prestigious Overall Trophy was awarded to the School of Law, recognising their exceptional talent and unwavering dedication across various events.

The School of Engineering and Technology secured the position of 1st Runner Up, while the School of Design and Innovation took home the 2nd Runner Up trophy.

The title of Best Cultural Procession was awarded to the School of Design and Innovation, acknowledging their captivating and culturally rich presentation.

In a special highlight of the event, added to the excitement by giving away a iPhone 13 to one lucky student. This generous gesture aimed to recognise and encourage young talent, making Udaan 2025 an even more memorable experience for all participants.

The event was graced by the presence of Chancellor, Charanjit Singh Channi; Pro Chancellor, Dr. Manbir Singh; Vice Chairman, Harpreet Singh; Vice Chancellor, Dr. Abhishek Tripathi; Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr. Nitin Tandon; Registrar, Sanjay Khanduri; Dean Academics, Dr. Simranjeet Kaur Gill; and Director Student Welfare, Er. Davinder Singh.

According to Chancellor, Charanjit Singh Channi, "Udaan is a testament to the incredible talent and creativity of our young generation. We are proud to provide a platform for them to showcase their skills and pursue their passions."
