CT University Chancellor Charanjit S Channi, Vice Chancellor Dr Harsh Sadawarti along with Kamaldeep who won silver at karate championship at Malaysia.

Ludhiana, July 22, 2019: CT University (CTU) Hotel Management, Airlines & Tourism’s student Kamaldeep Kaur bagged 2nd position along with a silver medal at 20th Milo International Open Karate Championship, held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia under the category of Under-18, below 55 Kgs. Defeating Sri Lanka, Kaur brought laurels for India. A total of 10 Asian countries participated with around 1200 players.

Kamaldeep Kaur is enrolled in BSc Airlines and Airport Management, who is having a great passion for Karate, and on her win she said, “I believe that every girl must bring out herself from books and household chores and give wings to their dreams. My family, friends and CTU gave me full support for executing karate and ultimately I won silver for India.”

On her success, Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor said, “Students must not only stick to their domain, instead explore every possibility they see and work for their interests. Kaur is a student of Airlines but still pursuing her passion for karate which is a great example of giving time to interests as well.” He further wished her luck for both studies and her sport.
