A dedicated team of 40 NSS volunteers including students and teachers from CT University participated in a community service initiative aligned with the Swachh Bharat Mission. Ludhiana, October 7, 2024: A dedicated team of 40 NSS volunteers including students and teachers from CT University participated in a community service initiative aligned with the Swachh Bharat Mission. The event organized in collaboration with the University, aimed to promote environmental awareness and cleanliness in the local area.
 
The volunteers under the guidance of their coordinators, embarked on a roadside cleaning drive. Armed with brooms, dustbins, and gloves, they diligently removed litter and garbage from the surrounding streets. The initiative was spearheaded by Chairman Charanjit Singh Channi, Pro Chancellor Dr. Manbir Singh, Directorate of Student Welfare Davinder Singh, Head of Sports Gurdeep Singh.
 
Pro Chancellor Dr. Manbir Singh stated "It's a wonderful opportunity to contribute to our community and make a positive impact on our environment. Cleaning up our roads not only improves the aesthetics but also promotes public health." The Swachh Bharat Mission, a nationwide campaign launched by the Government of India, emphasizes the importance of cleanliness and hygiene.
