Ludhiana, November 4, 2024: CT University is proud to announce that four of its talented sports students have been selected to represent India in prestigious international tournaments. This achievement underscores the university's commitment to nurturing sporting excellence and providing a platform for its students to showcase their abilities on the global stage.
Kajal Biswas, a student from the Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports Sciences (BPES) program, has been selected to participate in the 4th World Sqay Championship to be held in Uzbekistan. Manjeet, a student from the Bachelor of Arts (BA) program, has earned a spot in the 8th Asian Pencak Silat Championship, also taking place in Uzbekistan. Sayam Saha, another BPES student, has been chosen to represent India at the 11th Commonwealth Karate Championship in South Africa. Harkunwar, a BA student, has secured a place in the World Table Tennis Youth Contender in Hungary. Harkunwar's selection highlights his potential as a rising star in the world of table tennis.
Pro Chancellor Dr. Manbir Singh, extended his heartfelt congratulations to all the selected students and expressed confidence that these students would make India proud with their outstanding performances on the international stage.
