CT University Registrar Dr Jagtar Dhiman along with students and expert guest Dr Brijinder Singh Rana during induction program.

Ludhiana, August 19, 2019: CT University held an orientation programme for M.Optometry students where in the guest speaker remained Dr Brijinder Singh Rana, Managing Director, Rana Hospital who is an eminent eye surgeon with rich experience of more than 15 years.

Speaking on the day, Dr Rana elaborated, “You need to be very much particular about a child’s eye care as these days children with eye diseases are common. Eye treatment has to be done with extreme care and with expert hands. This course will make you theoretically strong and practically skilful.” He also wished students luck for their future.

For the practical experience, University also has a tie up with Rana Hospital where students get an opportunity to get real life exposure.
This is the second batch where in students from PAN India have enrolled themselves.

Dr Jagtar Singh Dhiman, Registrar, said, “CTU also runs a bachelor course for the same. The team of faculty and lab technicians is making this course a success. Eye care is very particular these days as they aren’t only exposed to pollution whereas to technology. We keep on sitting for so long on cell phones and laptops, which is making our eyes weak. I wish luck to the budding doctors that they will make the world healthy.”
Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor, CT University motivated students for their journey in the campus and wished them luck for their future.
