Thousands of people from around 200 villages attended the camp

Ludhiana, January 21, 2018: CT University in association with World Cancer Care Organization organized cancer awareness cum free medical checkup camp.

The camp majorly emphasized on Medical Check Up and distribution of medicines free of cost. There were six buses equipped with ultra modern equipments at this event. The camp was inaugurated by S.Charanjit Singh Channi, Chancellor CT University, Pro VC Dr.Harsh Sadawarti CT University, Mr.Kulwant Singh Dhaliwal, Chairman World Cancer Care, Mr.Dharminder Dhillon MD World Cancer Care and Mrs.Parminder Kaur Co-Chairperson, CT Group.

Thousands of people from approximately 200 villages participated in the camp. Besides Jagraon, people from Ludhiana, Raikot and Moga cities also came to take benefit of this camp.

Pro VC Dr. Harsh Sadawarti said that CT University provided free buses for patients to bring them to the camp. Under its CSR initiative, CT University and World Cancer Care organized this camp to help the poor and underprivileged people of this region.

While giving information, S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Chancellor, CT University said that besides providing quality education since last 20 glorious years under CT Group, CTU also aims at fulfilling its social responsibility. Such camps are beneficial for the cancer patients especially as we invited expert doctors to provide right guidance to those who cannot afford expensive checkups.
