CT University’s School of Management holds Trade-A-Thon

Ludhiana, March 15, 2022: The School of Management, CT University organized Trade-a-Thon, a National Live Stock Trading Contest in association with National Stock Exchange Academy.

This contest aimed to promote sound investing and trading strategies among students of CT University through an engaging learning and gaming experience.  TRADE-A-THON is curated and hosted on NSMART, a simulated market trading platform of NSE academy. Through this platform, the students have been given an access to virtual mock stock exchange wherein they were able to learn about stock trading, compete and practice with hands-on experience in a simulated environment of NSE. These programs are arranged to provide additional certification to the students along with their regular degree programs to enhancement of Employability.

This was organized by Sharu Kaushal, Assistant Prof., School of Management Studies and Ati Priye, Director Planning and Development, CT University under the guidance of worthy Vice-Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti and Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Hemant Kumar Sharma.

Dr. Harsh Sadawarti said, “Stock trading has become an apple of the eye in recent years due to high-profit potential and with proper training, traders can make a huge difference in their profit. With the help of a strong training program, a trader can limit its risk by diversifying the right investment plan.”

The students enthusiastically took part in it and said that this will be very useful for us in future if we choose to go in the field of stock trading.
