CT Varsity organises International e-conference on women empowerment
Delegates from over 20 countries participated in the event
Ludhiana: CT University in collaboration with Tradepreneur Global Academic Platform, United Kingdom organized an online International conference based on ‘Women Empowerment in World (ICWEW)’. Dr Mehmet Saribiyik, Vice Chancellor from Sakarya University of Applied Sciences, Turkey, was the Chief Guest for the conference.
Delegates from over 20 countries participated in the event. The objective of the conference was to see the global perspective on women empowerment. Over 200 participants from all over the world presented their research papers in seven technical sessions.
Dr Saribiyik said, “With the use of technology, various countries are outreaching to celebrate the women empowerment and my country is indeed amongst these. We make sure to inculcate women in every field and even in my university there are 60-70% of women members. The technology lets shorten the global gender gap as technology is all about critical thinking and bringing the best, it is not gender biased.”
Dr Yogesh Chhabra, Principal, School of Engineering and Technology said, “Women plays a very important role in the development of any country. Alongside, Technology offers enormous opportunities for development of economic, social and educational development of the people. Conference helps people to understand that how much work has been done in different countries regarding women empowerment. It gives an idea that still a lot need to be done.”
Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor CTU appreciated the efforts of the university and thanked guests for sharing their valuable knowledge.
