Ludhiana: CT University in association with Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises- Development Institute, Ludhiana (MSME-DI) and Indian Oil Corporation Limited organized a webinar on National Level Vendor Development Programme.
Dalip Rai, Chief General Manager (Contract Cell, IOCL Mumbai), R Jayan, General Manager (Contract) IOCL, Ripunjoy Dewri, Deputy General Manager, (Contract) IOCL, Mumbai, Patala Putus Senior Contracts IOCL, Mumbai, RK Parmar, Deputy Director, MSME –DI Ludhiana, Kundan Lal, Assistant Director, MSME- DI Ludhiana, members of various industrial associations of Punjab and Chandigarh and Major Associations of MSMEs across the country participated in the webinar.

Welcoming the guests, Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor CT University, Ludhiana said that the objective of the programme was to create awareness on Purchase and Procurement Policy and Vendor Selection Process of Govt. of India for procurement of material/goods by PSUs. He encouraged the students to put their thinking caps on collaborate theory with practical field work.

Thereafter, key note speaker was Dalip Rai, Chief General Manager (Contract Cell, IOCL Mumbai). In his address, he focused upon the e- Procurement process and Vendor Selection Process of Govt. of India for procurement of material/goods by PSUs. Ripunjoy Dewri, Deputy General Manager (Contracts) IOCL Mumbai gave the presentation on Procurement and Purchase Policy and Vendor Selection Process of IOCL. He discussed the Procurement Process. He discussed the Registration of MSE bidder and how to proceed for E Tendering Process. R Jayan , General Manager (contracts) IOCL Mumbai and Putala Putus, Senior contracts officer IOCL Mumbai did the technical discussion of Purchase and Procurement Policy and Vendor Selection Process of Govt. of India for procurement of material/goods by PSU
