CT World School hosts Annual Function depicting Evolution of Global Cinema 

CT World School celebrated its much-anticipated annual function, Rangmanch – Lights, Camera, Action, with resounding success. Themed around the Evolution of World Cinema, the event showcased a journey through the history of cinema, starting with legends like Charlie Chaplin and Raj Kapoor and culminating with the modern-day cinematic brilliance of Titanic and Bollywood's VFX era.

Jalandhar, November 24, 2024: CT World School celebrated its much-anticipated annual function, Rangmanch – Lights, Camera, Action, with resounding success. Themed around the Evolution of World Cinema, the event showcased a journey through the history of cinema, starting with legends like Charlie Chaplin and Raj Kapoor and culminating with the modern-day cinematic brilliance of Titanic and Bollywood's VFX era. 

Students enthralled the audience with performances highlighting timeless classics like Mughal-e-Azam, Sholay, and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, alongside tributes to icons such as Helen and Bappi Lahiri's disco era. The program was a vibrant fusion of art, talent, music, dance, and drama, vividly portraying cinema's transition from black-and-white to modern-day storytelling. 

The event was graced by Maj Gen Harmit Singh (Retd) as the Chief Guest, with Dr. Jaspreet Rana from NIT Jalandhar and Dr. Arvind Kumar from Panjab University, Chandigarh, as Guests of Honour. Also in attendance were CT Group dignitaries, including Chairman Charanjit Singh, Managing Director Dr. Manbir Singh, Co-Managing Director Tanika Channi, Executive Director Dr. Nitin Tandon, and Principal of CT World School Arti Jaswal.

Chairman Charanjit Singh lauded the students, stating, "Our students have beautifully captured the essence of cinema's evolution through their creativity and dedication." Principal Arti Jaswal expressed her pride, saying, "The annual function showcased the immense talent of our students and the collaborative spirit of our school. It was a celebration of art, culture, and education."
