CT World School students clinch positions in Inter-school Sahodaya competition
Jalandhar: The students of CT World School namely Adhvay Nair of grade VI and Abhayjeet Singh Bhangu of grade IX brought laurels to the school by bagging third position and consolation prize respectively in an Inter-school Sahodaya competition held via digital mode. Out of 25 reputed schools of Sahodaya complex and around 50 students, Adhvay and Abhayjeet proved their mettle under the category VI-VIII and IX-XII in theme-based Paper Mache and Research and Paper Presentation competition respectively.
Adhvay Nair showcased an artwork via paper mache on the theme “festivals” wherein he represented one of the famous festivals of South India i.e. Onam and the major attraction associated to it i.e. the snakeboat. Abhayjeet Singh represented a research paper under the category “Research and Paper presentation” based on the theme “Building fairer and more equal societies for prosperous, peaceful, and sustainable world” wherein he did a research work on sustainable development goals and wrote about how companies and the government of different countries are working on the achievement of the goals.
Both students are enthusiastic learners and earlier also have bagged couple of prizes and appreciation awards in number of offline and online inter school competitions.
On this proud moment, Madhu Sharma, Principal CT World School remarked that such inter-school events play an important role in motivating students to perform, excel and offer a lot more reward than just winning a prize. Such competitions also encourage students to adopt innovative techniques and develop their ideas and skills, she added.
