CTIEMT Hosts 5-Day Innovation, Design & Entrepreneurship Boot Camp in Collaboration with AICTE & Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell

Jalandhar, February 21, 2025: CT Institute of Engineering, Management & Technology (CTIEMT) successfully hosted the Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Boot Camp—Edition 2, Phase 2 in collaboration with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC). This five-day boot camp was conducted simultaneously at 12 locations across India, with teams participating nationwide. Over 200 students engaged in the intensive program at CTIEMT, gaining hands-on experience in innovation and entrepreneurship. On day 1 online inauguration was done by Chairman AICTE, Prof. T.G. Sitharam.
The Nodal Centre Heads for the event were Sarim Moin, Innovation Officer, MIC, and Ankush Gawri, Manager – IP & Technology Transfer, AICTE.
The boot camp served as a dynamic platform for students to participate in interactive sessions, industrial visits, incubator visits, panel discussions, and hands-on workshops focusing on key aspects of entrepreneurship, product innovation, and business development. Topics covered included startups, patents, product design, user experience, customer persona, and prototype-to-MVP development, among others.
On the final day, 38 teams from across India presented their startup ideas in a competitive pitch session. After rigorous evaluation by a panel of industry experts, five positions were filled by seven ventures. Team Deep Truth secured the first position, followed by Miladhaya in second place, and Quad Bits in third. Latt Free and Cognitive Audibrain Decoding shared the fourth position, while Pure Washr Solutions and Rescue X jointly secured the fifth spot.
The event was supported by Master Trainer Dr. Ruchi Gautam Pant from Wadhwani Group who guided participants throughout the boot camp. The jury panel, comprising leading entrepreneurs, industrialists, and startup mentors, included Tushar Jain, CEO & MD of Basant Autotech LLP; Mukul Verma, Managing Director of SAVI International; Dr Munish Jindal, Founder & CEO of Hover Robotix and Founding President of MentorX Global; Shyamal Kishore, Director of Covallence Research Pvt. Ltd; Anima Mishra, Founder & CEO of Ekara Financial Services Pvt. Ltd; Dr Nancy Juneja, Founder of Revup Life Skills and Co-Founder of MentorX Global; Chef Naman Arora, Founder of Naman Pizzeria and Bistro; Chef Vishavdeep Bali, Founder of Food GPT and Chef Consultant; and Gaurav Sharma, Managing Director of O7 Solutions.
The closing ceremony was attended by Dr Jasdeep Kaur Dhami, Director of Campus; Dr Sangram, Director of Academic Operations; and Dr Nittan Arora, Director of CCPC.
Dr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director of CT Group, lauded the efforts of the participants and encouraged them to embrace entrepreneurship as a key driver of innovation and economic growth.
