CTIHM organising “Shaken and Stirred” a workshop under guidance of Master Chef Vikas Khanna

Jalandhar, April 17, 2015: CT Institute of Hotel Management (CTIHM) is organising “Shaken and Stirred” a workshop on Non-Alcoholic beverages from Professional Bartenders at The Brewmaster, Jalandhar on April 20 under the guidance of Master Chef Vikas Khanna.

Addressing a press conference here today, Parminder Kaur Channi (Co-Chairperson, CT Group of Institutions), Dr. Rohit Sarin (Director, CTIHM) and Huzur Ahmed (Corporate Manager, Brewmaster) added that around 200 registered students and housewives will witness this mega event on Monday afternoon. Here National renowned bartenders and sommeliers will be gathered to showcase their Bartending skills under the guidance of Master Chef Vikas Khanna. They will amaze the audience with their juggling & flaring skills and teach the young aspirants about the chemistry of mixing non alcoholic beverages.

Various famous National & International Mocktails will be prepared and they are categorised as Refreshing, On the Go, Soothe, Revive, Savour, Chill, Restrain, Trick & Treat, Inspire and Rise a Toast.

Dr. Rohit Sarin (Director, CTIHM) informed that during the event Chef Vikas Khanna will also launch a book on Non Alcolohic beverages. Among the registered participants 30 lucky winners will be chosen as per their knowledge and skills on non alcoholic beverages. They will also be awarded with autographed books from the Master Chef.

Parminder Kaur Channi (Co-Chairperson, CT Group of Institutions) said that it is a great opportunity for the students and house wives to experience the wonderful learning from the renowned and celebrated Chef Vikas Khanna. The event will provide a wide area of improvement of hospitality and managerial skills of the students.
