CTIHM student receives  Young Chef of the Year award

Jalandhar, December 3, 2018: CT Institute of Hotel Management (CTIHM) student Manik Basra of BSc. HM 3rd Semester has been awarded as “Young Chef of the Year”. He is running his own catering business since 2016 and has catered to many VVIP including Chief Minister of Punjab.

All these achievements have made him to win this award. The award was presented during annual Chef Conclave of Chef Association of Five Rivers where the world renowned chefs like Chef Manjit Singh Gill, Chef Kunal Kapoor, Chef Vicky Ratnani, Chef Sudhir Sibal, Chef Sanjay Thakur etc were present.

On this achievement, Manik said, “I am thankful to the faculty of our department who always show trust in me and are training us to the best extent they can. I am feeling on cloud nine as this award is one of the big achievements for me.”

Dr Bharat Kapoor, Director of CTIHM said that Manik is one of the bright students of the batch and own creative ideas that he inculcate in his work.

Manbir Singh, Managing Director, CT Group congratulated the student and wished him good luck for his future.
