CTPS launches ‘Tu Mera Buddy’ Program to war against drugs
Jalandhar, December 3, 2019: Calling for ‘Nashe Ton Azadi’ (Freedom from Drugs), ‘Tu Mera Buddy’ programme has been launched at CT Public School to take the war against drugs to school students. A special assembly was conducted and the students were called upon to take a pledge on this momentous occasion to wipe out the menace of drugs from the state to secure the healthy future of the coming generation. Nikita of Class X presented an excellent speech to make the students aware of ill effects of this menace. She mentioned that drug addiction is among those social evils of the society that needs urgent attention and this addiction not only affected the addicts but also affected their family who suffered from severe mental and financial stress at the hand of this menace. Principal Daljeet Rana and Vice Principal Sukhdeep Kaur appreciated the efforts of CTians in playing an active role in this campaign against drug abuse. They said such initiatives will remove this evil from the grass root level and make our country free from the clutches of drug addiction.
