CTPS students paint wall on women empowerment under Smart City campaign
Jalandhar, February 14, 2019: Under Smart City Campaign of Municipal Corporation Jalandhar, the students of CT Public School have beautifully painted a wall of BMC Chownk flyover, opposite MBD Mall, on women empowerment theme. It is done with support of MC authorities and 91.9 FM Radio City. The students painted the wall of a flyover with four different messages. The messages depict the women to speak for their rights and equality, for equal status in society and their right to education. Students painted the wall under the guidance of artist Dharampal of CT Group. Aashika Jain, IAS, Joint Commissioner MCJ said, “Under Smart City campaign to make Jalandhar city number 1, we are trying our level best to make our city beautiful with so many beautiful messages related to ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ and women empowerment. I appreciate the efforts of CT Group students for painting this wall beautifully.” CT Group Managing Director Manbir Singh said, “This is quite a wonderful initiative taken by MC authorities and radio for making city smart and CT is proud to collaborate with them for meaningful things.” On this occasion, media professional Seema Soni from radio industry was also present.
