CTU opens OPD on World Physiotherapy Day
Ludhiana, September 10, 2018: An Out Patient Department (OPD) was inaugurated at CT University (CTU) on the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day by the Chancellor Charanjit Singh Channi. A physiotherapy Camp was organized on the occasion, under the supervision of the experts. Valuable tips for dealing with muscular and joint pain were given by experts the OPD has created state-of-the art infrastructure for physiotherapeutic exercises and treatments. The services have been started for the locals at nominal charges. In his remarks, Dr Harsh Sadawarti said that CTU is a campus where not only the students are groomed to get good education but also to serve the society. The launch of OPD would be run by experts to serve the society for good and further provide learning experience to students, he said. Speaking on the occasion, Chancellor Charanjit S Channi said, “The well-equipped Physiotherapy OPD at CTU is aimed to serve the local community and to provide an exposure to the students” and added that the University has started many healthcare programmes in recent months. The OPD was inaugurated in the presence of Vice Chancellor, Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Registrar, Dr Jagtar Singh Dhiman; Dean Academics, Dr Gurvinder Bakshi; Heads of School; Faculty members and staff.
