CUET Entrance Examination smoothly conducted at Amity University Haryana
Considering the importance of providing centres for the smooth conduct of the Central University Examination, CUET 2022 in reputed universities and institutions, the National Testing Agency in association with AICTE had assigned Amity University Haryana (AUH) as a center for candidates of NCT Delhi and Localities around the millennium city of Gurugram. Everyday, starting from Sunday, 21st August 2022 to Friday, 26th August 2022, the AUH center was allocated 700 candidates in each shift, forenoon and afternoon. The examination was conducted with utmost sincerity and commitment to uphold highest levels of security and integrity, in each shift for the last 6 days utilizing the computer and network facilities of the Amity University Haryana said Prof Vikas Madhukar, Pro Vice Chancellor, AUH who has acted as the Center Head for the CUET-2022 at AUH.
Elaborate arrangements were made to register the candidates and verify their credentials by the NTA team members who utilized their software facilities and the central data base to rule out any possibility of misconduct or unfair means. The AUH IT Team headed by Shri Vivek Rawat facilitated the NTA Team and overall arrangements for maintaining decorum and discipline was supervised by Maj Gen G S Bal (Retd), Dean Student Welfare, AUH and his team of security personnel.
Deputy Controller of Examination Shri Arun Biswas worked with utmost vigilance and sincerity to support the NTA team in the conduct of the CUET-2022 examination at AUH with highest levels of integrity. Effective supervision of the examination was made by the faculty and staff invigilators in each computer lab where the students appeared in the examination. Not a single case of unfair means has come to light at the center on any of the days of CUET-2022 examination at AUH.
The smooth and hassle free conduct of CUET-2022 at AUH assumes a high significance, given the cancellations at some other centers due to lack of compatibility and other necessary preparations.
Expressing their delight at the excellent arrangements made by AUH for parents and grandparents during their wait the CUET-2022 examination of their wards Shri Rakesh said “The arrangement made by the university for the parents and their wards are excellent. We would like to thank the University for the smooth functioning of the examination.”
Expressing his fullest satisfaction in smooth conduct of the examination, the Vice Chancellor AUH, Prof P B Sharma said “For us the conduct of CUET-2022 is no less than serving the nation as the fair conduct of the entrance test holds a great promise to uphold the dignity and honor of the university system in India and also to create an unclenching faith of the young aspirants in the fairness of assessment and examination system”. It is also highly satisfying that the parents who accompanied the students were also provided basic support including a relaxing place in the university auditorium.
The Vice Chancellor Prof Sharma personally interacted with the parents of the candidates appearing in the examination and thanked them to support their wards in their aspirations for higher studies. It is our family values and the family system that inspires the parents to work for well being of our children, daughters, sons and grandsons so that they get the best of the education and shape them as the responsible citizens of the new world. Nowhere in the world, other than in the Eastern Countries such as in India that the parents make utmost sacrifice for their children and look after them up to the last breath of their life. We need to preserve our family culture that is unique in the world, said Prof Sharma while interacting with the parents today.
Appreciating the arrangements made by AUH, Shreya, an undergraduate aspirant said, “The guidance and the arrangements made by university are commendable.
