Punjab Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister Anmol Gagan Mann on Wednesday expressed deep grief over the demise of the renowned and legendary Punjabi singer Surinder Shinda. He was 70 years old and is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters.

Punjab Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister Anmol Gagan Mann on Wednesday expressed deep grief over the demise of the renowned and legendary Punjabi singer Surinder Shinda. He was 70 years old and is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters.

In a condolence message, Anmol Gagan Mann said that Surinder Shinda was an extraordinary singer who won an incredible place in the minds of music buffs with his expressive voice. He would continue to live in the hearts of his fans through his melodious and evergreen songs.

The Minister prayed to the Almighty for granting eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family.

Eminent Punjabi singer Surinder Shinda breathed his last this morning at the DMC Hospital in Ludhiana where he was under treatment for a few days.
