CUPB organized 5-day AICTE ATAL sponsored FDP on ‘Strategic Planning and Implementation in Digital Era’
Bathinda, October 11, 2021: The School of Management of the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda (CUPB) under the patronage of Vice Chancellor Prof. Raghavendra P. Tiwari successfully organized AICTE-ATAL sponsored Faculty Development Programme (FDP) from 4—8 October 2021 on the focal theme of ‘Strategic Planning & Implementation in Digital Era’. Out of 122 registered participants, 65 participants including faculty, researchers, students and corporate professionals have successfully completed this workshop.
This five-day FDP programme featured fourteen sessions on different sub-themes of this workshop during which participants learnt about corporate and business level strategies, effect of globalization and digitalization, unique strategies to identify strengths and weaknesses of an organisation, manufacturing cycle, value chain analysis, balance scorecard, digital transformation, importance of shared vision, consumer behaviour in digital era, advantages of technological upgradation, strategy formulation in dynamic business environment.
The invited speakers of this workshop were eminent academicians including Prof. Prashant Salwan (IIM Indore), Prof. Manjit Singh (Punjabi University, Patiala), Prof. Vikas Chaudhary (NIT Kurukshetra), Prof. T. Radha Ramanan (NIT Calicut), Prof. Santosh Rangnekar (IIT Roorkee), Prof. A.K. Vashishth (Punjab University, Chandigarh), Prof. Ravi Inder Singh (UBS PU, Ludhiana), Prof. Praveen Sahu (Central University of Rajasthan, Bandar Seendri), Dr. R.K. Soni (Advisor AICTE), Prof. Navkiranjit Kaur (Punjabi University, Patiala), Prof. Rajesh Verma (Lovely Professional University Phagwara), Prof. Karunesh Saxena (MLSU, Udaipur).
During the valedictory ceremony, Prof. Anjana Munshi, Dean Research, congratulated the participants who have completed this workshop. She appreciated the faculty and students of Dept. of Financial Administration for successful execution of FDP programme. Dr. Anand Thakur, Programme Coordinator, & Dean, School of Management, while presenting the programme report mentioned that this FDP has achieved its objective as the deliberations on different sub-themes held in this workshop have certainly enhanced the understanding of participants would prove to be helpful to them to conduct further research in their discipline.
