DANCE: The tapping of feet of Tiny tots

A students performs on the stage.

Ludhiana, February 7, 2013: Dance – It is the wedding of movement to music. It spasms cultures from soaring leaps to the simple swaying at the school proms. It is dance, a means of recreation, of communication –perhaps the oldest, yet the most incompletely preserved, of the art forms.

Today the children of KG Section of Kundan Vidya Mandir, Civil Lines, enthralled one and all with their performances. The swaying numbers captivated the audience. The songs varied from Rajasthani folk songs, Punjabi Folk Songs, and various other folk songs from different states made it a gala event.

Eklavya Chopra of UKG A and Kritika Jain of UKG D bagged the first prize in the UKG category. In the LKG category Naina Sangar of LKG A won the first prize.

The prizes were given to the winners.

The Principal Navita Puri appreciated the efforts made by all. She encouraged the other children to take part in such competitions, as it is good for the overall development of the children.
