SSP of Chandigarh supports Chandigarh's couples at Dandia Garba Night

Chandigarh, October 6, 2019: The trend of Garba and Dandiya during Navratri is such that youth and ladies of Tricity are no longer able to celebrate Navratri without dancing to the tunes of melodies numbers with sticks in hands and in traditional dresses.

Garba and Dandiya are also very popular in Bollywood. Bollywood actresses and actors are often spotted at Dandia and Garba Nights. Today, the youth of Chandigarh were seen in a traditional dress following their Bollywood stars, in Dandiya Garba Night supported by SSP Nilambari Jagdale in Tamzara.

SSP Nilambari Jagdale of Chandigarh was the chief guest and she also shared stage with tricity families in a traditional dress. It was the first of its kind live Dandiya Garba Night held at Tamjara Club on Sunday.

At Dandiya Garba Knight, Guest of Honour was Solicitor General Sat Pal Jain (BJP).

Significantly, the preparations for Dandiya Garba Night had been going on for a long time, , the 5 couples of the city (whose preparations had been going on for the last twenty days by the choreographer's new tutorial videos shared via social media ) demonstrated at Tamzara Club Chandigarh to all the couples before performance. Dandiya went on a rampage in Garba Night, said Ritu and Raman Garg the organisers.
