Ludhiana, May 22, 2019: Dare to Dream Session on Growth Matters in Association with FICO (Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organization) organized at Hotel Radisson BLU Ludhiana. The Growth Matters Network is a vibrant community for small and midmarket business topics and is aimed at businesses to engage on ideas and network with industry leaders, to inspire them to think and dream big in the digital era through sharing of success stories. Onkar Singh Pahwa, Chairman, Avon Cycles Limited & Patron in Chief FICO was the Keynote Speaker. Pahwa said they have dared to understand the demand of Ludhiana and set up the raw material plant even before they got the mandatory approvals for the same, he said they have always invested in plants, machinery of the factories, rather than houses. He further added there is a huge scope for the MSME sector to grow provided they should be bold enough to adopt to new technologies. He emphasized on sustaining on an idea and said don’t give up on an idea, be bold, dare to dream, there will be ups and downs, never give up, and the world is yours. K.K. Seth, Chairman, Seth Industrial Corporation & Chairman, FICO shared his Success Mantras and said the Technology Changing things at very fast pace, the sooner you adopt, the better for you. Ajit Lakra, Head, FICO Textile Division & Chairman Superfine Knitters Limited, shared his success story and said that he wanted to list his company on Bombay Stock Exchange, he worked hard on it, and today his company is listed on BSE, he said it is possible for a MSME to be listed on BSE, provided you work dedicatedly for it. Gurmeet Singh Kular, President FICO, said The ‘Dare to Dream’ helped businesses in Ludhiana demonstrate the amazing work that they have been doing, while offering others a chance to learn from their experiences and adopt best practices.
