Darshan Singh Baid launches ‘Bhatakde Rahi’

Darshan Singh Baid, an esteemed retired  engineer with more than 31 years of rewarding service, a dedicated social worker and most importantly a passionate writer by heart , today unveiled his new book "Bhatakde Rahi " at Lezzetli Restaurant, Kharar, Mohali, on Sunday (November 14, 2021). 

The book is  based upon the theme, social and cultural values we as a society must practice and keep our mind away from the abuse of power and greed.  People from different walks of life joined in for the book launching ceremony. 

The book titled "Bhatakde Rahi" is one of its kind self help guide, as it sheds light upon various social issues prevailing in the country. 

The book delves into different stories based upon different social themes, each  concluding with a moral at the end . The 72 pages in the book are categorized onto various topics such as Motivational Column, Safety, Poems on Love, Human, society and a lot more. The book is full of knowledge, as each chapter helps the reader to understand the world in a much better way, paving the way for growth as an individual. The book also gives us a message that, it's time we as a society must reflect upon, and  take a hard look at social values.  As the name suggests, the book aims to give right direction to the people, by showing correct path, because in the virtue  of greed and power, we often tend to loose ourselves.  The book is an anthology of poems, available in Hindi and English both, and one can also gain knowledge by hearing it on YouTube and Facebook. 

Sharing his views on the book launch, Darshan Singh Baid said, “Writing this book was on my mind since a very long time and is written in such a way that readers will be able resonate with it. Through my book, I want to help and  inspire as many people I can. The book holds a great message on value system and how in today's time we as s society have risen towards discrimination, unethical practices and greed. Each poem comes with a moving message, as  every leaf you turn of this book. The book is a great lesson for today's generation, which has somewhere lack of exposure on social values. All poems and stories are penned in a very easy, comprehensive language and the best part one can also enjoy these through videos as well.”

Darshan Singh, concluded by saying, “It's not just a set of poems, but a journey towards self help. It is a must read book and will provide readers an inner sense of happiness and satisfaction.”
