Jaladhar, December 1, 2018" Today, Red Ribbon Club, NSS , NCC and Youth services club of DAV College, Jalandhar celebrated World Aids Day by organising a awareness rally.
On this occasion, Principal Dr.S.K.Arora, while addressing the volunteers, said that, being a sensible citizen, we should avoid such malpractices and also encourage others not to follow these.
They emphasized that we should keep self - confidence in ourselves and stay away from any kind of drugs. People who consume drugs through injections suffer from horrible diseases including AIDS.
On this occasion, programme coordinator, Prof.Middha said that it is our duty to spread awareness about AIDS in the society.
Those who are victims of unprotected sex, drugs or AIDS since birth should be motivated to lead a good life and to live happily instead of being a liability for the society.
On this occasion, NCC Incharge Prof Captain Sameer Sharma, Program Officer Prof Kamal Arora and Prof. Meenu Talwar and Youth Coordinator Prof. Seema Sharma were especially present.
