DAV College, Jalandhar organized Inaugural function of "Thinker's Forum"


A total of 112 students from various departments were enrolled in this forum

Jalandhar, March 15, 2019: Inaugural function of "Thinker's Forum" was held on 8th March at DAV College ,Jalandhar in Biotech Seminar Hall . Mr.Surinder Seth appeared as the chief guest of the function. Principal Dr.S.K.Arora welcomed him by presenting him a flower bouquet and also introduced him to the students. He told that Mr.Seth is a well known artist at All India Radio and Doordarshan. He was the managing editor at Dainik Bhaskar as well as a writer and anchor of over 1000 TV programs.

Mr.Surinder Seth inaugurated the function with power point presentation. He motivated the students with various video clips and also interacted with them. Students shown keen interest in interacting with him.

Principal. Dr. S. K. Arora told the students that Thinker's Forum is a platform for the students and by the students where they will be provided expertise interactions as per their interests which would enhance their skills, intellect and personality.

Dr. Renu told that international women's day is not about celebrations. It is a reminder to all of us, including women, to re-think our attitude towards women in response to changing scenario. It is about working for the society, free from gender biasness, relationship based on mutual respect and support.

A total of 112 students from various departments enrolled in this forum and participated in this function.

Prof. Incharge of Thinker's Forum Mrs. Tanu Mahajan presented Vote of Thanks. Principal Dr. S k. Arora presented momento to Mr. Surinder Seth for giving his time to the function. Thinker's Forum gave flower pots to the guests and Principal Sir.

Guests of the function were Mr. Surinder Seth, Seth Kundan Lal, Sh. Ajay Goswami. Mrs. Anu gupta, Mrs. Sonika, Mrs. Pooja, Mrs. Renuka, Mrs. Jeevan Asha, Prof. Tanu Mahajan (Incharge), Prof. Komal Soni, Prof. Monika Arora along with various students attended the function.
