DAVIET organised E-Fest 2022; Results declared

Jalandhar, May 6, 2022: DAVIET organised E-FEST 2022 from 12th April-25th April 2022 and result was declared on 28th April 2022. The main motive behind organizing this festival was to provide a platform to the students to express their views through various performances. The main items of this festival were Elocution, Indoor Photography, Dance, Sketching, Digital poster making, Music Competition, Turban tying, Gidda and Bhangra, beat busters, and Short video, etc. With more than 20 events ranging from photography, singing, western dance, theatres, Punjabi folk dance, literary, performing arts, and many more over 250+ participants registered across the nation and showed their talent by enthusiastically participating in various events. The E-fest is a national-level platform and anyone from the age of 5 to 25 could participate.

Principal Dr. Manoj Kumar congratulated the students for giving marvellous performances and appreciated them for participating in the events with this much zeal. He mentioned that such initiatives aim to provide a battlefield for the best of the best and also gain experience. He wished and encouraged the students to perform in such events in the future also. Dr. Sudhir Sharma (dean academics), Ms. Jasdeep Kaur Johal (Cultural Officer), and the Event Coordinator thanked all the Student Coordinators for making E-FEST a successful event. Ms. Jasdeep Kaur also congratulated all the students and wished them best of luck in the future endeavors.

Following are the list of winners in various events:
In Beat Busters, Yashika Singla from Gopichand Arya Mahila College got 1st position under age category 19-24 years. With Blaksh Arora and Amneet Kaur securing 2nd and 3rd position respectively.
 In Elocution,  Shruti Sharma from DAVIET and Tarunika Rampa from HMV bagged 1st position under age categories 15-18 years and 19-24 years respectively.
In Story Writing, Naina Nanda and Muskan Chawla from DAVIET got 1st position under age category 16-18 years and 19-24 years respectively.
In Bhangra, Mansimran Singh Bhangu Singh from PCTE Baddowal bagged 1st position, Divjot Singh and Tarun Kumar from DAVIET bagged 2nd and 3rd position respectively. 
In Gidha, Yati Mahajan from MGN public School got 1st position
Yuvraj Walia in Poem Recitation got 1st position.
In Photography Jatin Vaira, Tanish Kalra and Akshit Airi won the first position under different categories. In videography Simarjeet Singh bagged the first position.
Simran in Painting and Teena from HMV Jalandhar in Digital Poster got 1st position.
