DAVIET outshines in IKG PTU securing 105 merit positions in November 2018 and 86 merit positions in April 2019 Exams

Jalandhar: In the recently declared Merit Positions of IKG PTU, DAVIET bagged 12 First Positions and 20 second positions (November, 2018 and April, 2019 examinations). The students of DAVIET reigned supreme with as many as 105 and 85 merit positions respectively. The achievement stands as an epitome of the hard work put in by the students and teachers alike to set new benchmarks for others to emulate. It is because of the achievements of the students that DAVIET has established itself as a hub of academic excellence in the entire region.
Mridul Talwar (Sem 1st), Rahul (Sem 1st), Abhishek Tiwari (Sem 1st) and  Manjot Kaur (Sem 7th )  from the Department of Electrical Engineering,  Akhil Kathuria (Sem 1st) from the Department of Information Technology, Akashdeep Singh (Sem 3rd) and Abhishek Kumar (Sem 7th) from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Simranjot Kaur from the Department of Computer Application (MCA Sem 1st ) bagged first positions, while Jaspreet Kaur (Sem 1st), Kritika (Sem 1st) and Sachin Rana (Sem 5th)  from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Sanjay Kumar (Sem 1st), Iqbal Singh Bhullar (Sem 1st)  and Tajinder Singh (Sem 5th ) from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Aashima Mehta (Sem 1st), Gautam Aggarwal (Sem 1st), Sayan Chakraborty (Sem 1st), Palak (Sem 7th ), Navdeep Singh Saini  (Sem 7th ), and Paras Malhotra (Sem 7th),  from the Department of Information Technology bagged the second positions in November 2018 IKG PTU End Semester Exams. 
Guneet Kaur (Sem 2nd)  from the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Arshdeep Singh (Sem 2nd)  from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Ankit Narang (Sem 2nd)  from the Department of Information Technology bagged First Positions in the recently held IKGPTU April 2019 end semester examination, while Sukeerat Kaur (Sem 2nd)  from the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Aayush Sharma (Sem 2nd) from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Sanjay Kumar (Sem 2nd) and Tajinder Singh (Sem 6th)  from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Akhil Kathuria (Sem 2nd) and Sanya Gupta (Sem 2nd)  from the Department of Information Technology, Simranjot Kaur (Sem 2nd)  and Tania (Sem 6th)  from the Department of Computer Application (MCA) bagged Second positions respectively in the recently held IKG PTU APRIL, 2019 examinations
Dr. Manoj Kumar, Principal DAVIET congratulated all the students for bagging the top positions and bringing laurels to the institution and making the teachers and parents proud. He stated that the achievement of the students proves the fact that they are in able hands who have always motivate them to excel in their respective fields. He also highlighted that the academic performance is the result of outcome based learning and teaching followed in the institution. He motivated the students to strive harder to get more top university positions in future Examinations.
