DAVIET students outshine by securing 123 merit positions in IKG PTU

Jalandhar: In the recently declared results of IKG PTU, the students of DAVIET established their academic supremacy by bagging 123 merit positions. The achievement highlights the commitment and hard work put in by the dedicated students and faculty to excel in the bi-annual academic assessment. It is because of the achievements of the students that DAVIET has created a niche for itself in the field of technical and professional education.
Gursirat Kaur from the Department of Computer Applications (BCA 1st sem), Kirti From the Department of Computer Science Engineering (Sem 5th), Sandeep Raj from the Department of Electrical Engineering (Sem 1st), Nandini (Sem 1st) and Sanya Dhir from the Department of Information Technology (5th Sem), Akhil Sharma (Sem 1st) and Vidhyasagar (Sem 7th) from the Department of Mechanical Engineering bagged the first positions respectively.
Manpreet Kaur (Sem 1st) and Ankita Rehal ( Sem 1st) from the Department of Computer Applications (MCA), Sambhav Jain (Sem 1st) and Saurav Patial (Sem 7th) from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Ayush Gupta (Sem 1st) and Mudit Dhussa (Sem 5th) from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Aditya Banotra (Sem 1st) and Prerna Kargil (Sem 5t) from the Department of Information Technology, Sagar (Sem 5th) and Manmeet Singh (Sem 7th) from the Department of Mechanical Engineering bagged the second positions respectively in the end semester university examinations.
The elated students of the institute expressed their gratitude to their teachers and credited their success to the excellent guidance provided by them.
Dr. Manoj Kumar, Principal DAVIET congratulated all the students for bagging the top positions in the examinations. He highlighted the fact that the success of the students is a proof of the fact that once students are in DAVIET campus they are motivated to give their best in each and every endeavour. He emphasised the fact that even during the pandemic the students and the teachers left no stone unturned to achieve academic excellence. He showed his confidence that the students of the institute will continue to excel in their chosen fields and will make DAVIET a brand name to be reckoned with.
