Jalandhar, February 28, 2015: Department of Fashion Designing of Prem Chand Markanda S.D.College for Women, Jalandhar City, organised a UGC Sponsored National Workshop on Surface Ornamentation of Garments on the second day of the workshop.
Four technical sessions were held to highlight different aspects of surface ornamentation of garments.
Dr.Kiran Arora, Principal accorded a floral welcome to the esteemed resource persons.
Dr. Vinay Midha, Associate Professor in Textile Technology, NIT, Jalandhar, Mr. Mohit Jain, Managing Director S.P. Garments, Ludhiana, Dr. Monica Sikka, Associate Professor Textile Technology, NIT Jalandhar, Dr. Poonam Aggarwal, Academic Head, NIFT, Mohali Chandigarh shared their expertise on the subject with the research scholars.
Mrs. Sunita Bhalla, Head Department of Fashion Designing was the seminar co-ordinator.
