DBEE organises loan mela
Placement camp and talent hunt also organised
Ludhiana: The District Administration Ludhiana, through the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises (DBEE), organised a loan mela/placement camp/talent hunt in its premises near Partap Chowk, here today. A total of 317 youth participated in this event.
The placement camp was attended by 178 youth and seven different companies.
The representatives of companies were also awarded on the occasion. During the talent hunt programme, a total of 46 youth participated, who performed bhangra, songs, skits etc on the occasion. The participants were awarded with certificates, gifts, books of self employment and trophies etc.
In the self employment camp, teams from Lead Bank, dirt department, agriculture department, SC Corporation, BC Corporation, fisheries department, District Industries Centre participated and a total of 78 youth attended it. Around 15 youth attended the function under Apna Rozgar Scheme.
On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Jagraon)-cum-CEO DBEE Mrs Neeru Katyal Gupta also interacted with the participants.
